How it works

Open the Excel file with Excel and start with the spreadsheet “settings”:

In the upper part fill out the

  • year,
  • your monthly incomes
  • and expenses.
List your income and fixed expenses

If there are monthly expenses mark the first checkbox. If it only occurs on special months, mark the checkboxes accordingly.

Each entry is assigned to a category via a dropdown menu. You can change the name of the categories in the settings too:

Now switch to the month, you want to list your monthly expenses. For example January:
