The Excel template is specially designed for people who take food supplements. It often happens that a certain ingredient, such as calcium or vitamin C, is found in different products.
How can you find out what quantities you have taken in total? It’s easy to lose track, especially when there are many products involved.
That’s exactly what this template is for.
Here’s the direct link to download.
How does the Calculation of the Ingredients of Nutritional Supplements work with Excel?
- Download the Excel file.
- Open it with the spreadsheet program of your choice.
- Enter the name of the products in the upper table “Ingredients of food supplements” (in the column “Nutritional supplements”) and the ingredients and their active ingredient content of the respective product in the line next to it. Make sure you use the same unit of measurement.
- Note the number of tablets, capsules etc. in the “Tablet intake” table.
- The “Evaluation” table automatically calculates the values for all ingredients!
Do not change the content of the grey cells and use “,” instead of “.” for numbers
Note: If you adjust the supplements in the first table, these terms are automatically entered in the evaluation. The same applies to the remedies. You therefore only need to enter the number of tablets in the lower table.
Hint: For calculation from mcg to mg you can use this website or use the conversion box in the Excel template.
