The One Thing Excel Template

Three years ago I read “The One Thing” by Gary Keller. This book created some new perspective on my private and job-related life. The author brought is own company back on the road to success. Later he wrote this astonishing book.

What is really important?

Basically the author emphasizes that you have to know which activity is really necessary for your private and job-related progress.

Unfortunately this is really hard today. There are so much distractions and some of them are made by ourselfs. Before I make that important call

  • I clean my desk
  • or I check my e-mail-account
  • or I get a cup of coffee and have a chat with the colleagues.

There are plenty of reasons for procrastination! Continue reading

Telephone Notes as Excel Template

A few days ago somebody asked me for a telehone-notes-template. Thanks for that hint! I could swear I did that template already, but I didn’t.

So here we go with a telephone message template. It is free and easy to handle. Just download it, open with Excel or Adobe Reader (PDF) and print it. Now you can put that sheet right to your phone and you won’t forget about what to ask during the phone-call.

Have a look at the screenshot of the telephone-note-template

Just like last year I offer my vacation-planner 2017 today for free. I’m sorry that it took so long. I just forgot about it and made other excel-templates instead.

Here we go with the vacation-planner 2017. As you can see in the next picture you get an overview for your employees when there are on vacation or on duty. Just activated the cell and format it with a color (I use darkgreen here).

Employee Absence Tracking Template

Every company, whether it has 5 or 5 thousand employees, needs to track the absence and availability of its personnel. This enables the company to pay its employees fairly, avoiding any disputes, and keep record of their overall performance and availability over time. There are many software out there that streamline this process for the human resource department of middle to enterprise-sized companies, but these solutions are expensive and add too much complexity and overhead. Small business owners and startups with a few employees need a simple and effective way to keep track of their employees’ absence and this is why we publish this week the free Employee Absence Tracking Calendar Microsoft Excel template.
